Milano Design Week 2026 marks a turning point: the progressive dissolution of boundaries between component and system. Through the synergy of HYLEtech and Nex-S System, we are no longer just designing lighting; we are building the technological conditions for the architecture of tomorrow.

For Luce5, this edition was about more than just illumination. It was a demonstration of how light acts as a vital thread within a broader technological fabric. By leveraging HYLEtech technology and the Nex-S System, the group moved beyond simple lighting to create active infrastructures that integrate energy, sensors, and matter.

Triennale Milano: The HYLEtech Lab - Light in Matter project introduced the active wall concept. Through the Nex-S System, the architectural surface evolved into a complex technological interface, shifting the focus from individual products to integrated systems.

Galleria Rossana Orlandi: The Symbiosi door, created in collaboration with Stefano Boeri Interiors, stands as a landmark of this vision. It is a single device that synthesizes lighting, energy management, and sensory functions, erasing the line between technical infrastructure and architectural form.

Widespread Innovation: From custom lighting solutions for Anotherview in the 5Vie district to experimental works with Roberto Sironi and Enea Colombo, Luce5’s expertise worked in synergy with HYLEtech’s broader technological research.
